Caring ministries

             Believers in Christ are urged to bear one another's burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ. First Church is blessed with people whose loving hearts and caring hands reach out to others in the name of our Lord.

Prayer chain

             Through the ministry of our prayer chain, prayers are offered each day for those in need. You may call and place a request for yourself or others.

Lay Communion

             Our lay communion minister take the Lord's Supper to those who are homebound or in nursing homes. You may call the church office should you need this ministry.

Special Care

             The Lord is a very present help in time of trouble. We respond with meals and other special assistance to our members in times of illness, crisis, grief, or other special need. The Lord is present with us and through us.

Funeral Dinners

             When there is a death, the people of First Church join hands to provide a meal support for its members.
